On this post I want to share post-rock indie bands from Poland and their songs which I like...Poland has so many independent post-rock bands. If you lke Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Arcade Fire etc. You should check these sounds. On our previous posts I wrote about Tides From Nebula. Lets go deeper now...
Our first guest is NAO from Warsaw. They are singing in Polish and call them self experimental rock. they have female vocal and just one album from 2011. They have very interesting and unique sound. But they should release more stuff.
You want drama, sadness, suffering on songs? Here you have one of my favourite. Spoiwo. I always have chills when I listen their song. This kind of songs are usually very long but Spoiwo is keeping songs shorter. And this video is totally excellent. I also recommend the song called `Skin`
Frozen Lakes is another band from capital Warsaw. Mostly slow and mid tempo melodic music with little aggresive vocals. They remind me french band A Red Season Shade when I have listened first time. Thy have 4 songs EP which can be listened on bandcamp or soundcloud.
Our next band is one man project Klimt. No vocal, melodic, melancholic strong music. He should definitely make more songs. I think when he plays live he has a line up from several bands. Here you got great song and video clip.
One of another my favourite band from Łódz. Hunted by the Waves. They have 3 songs EP with 20 minutes. Slow to strong, sludge to loud, instrumental to metal sound. They are taking you open sea with their great music without any vocal.
Our last guest is from Chorzów. Keira is You. They just released new album and tour around europe including Turkey. This two men band has really strong riffs, mostly more than 5 min songs and really emotional sound. Im adding here one video and new album on bandcamp. Enjoy.
